De Wever apartment building, Gennep, The Netherlands
2.0 Architecten, Eric SchellevisThis 1970s apartment building's interior and exterior was renovated in 2016, converting the existing 66 apartments into 52 apartments. The new building envelope features an eye-catching, unique design. The name 'De Wever' is partly due to the pattern that can be seen on the end wall that makes a statement on the streetscape of Gennep. In addition to the facade design, the distinctive pattern was implemented in other areas of the flats, such as the balustrades.
