Orchidea is the first completed component of 'Kennedy Garden' development, on the site of the former Siemensgründe near Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna. Consisting of 124 apartments across 8 floors, with an emphasis on affordable housing, the building is nearly net-zero and features a StoTherm Vario external wall insualtion system to improve energy efficiency. This facade is finished with a combination of vertical brick bond pattern of light green ceramic tiles, and a colour-matched render. The balcony balustrades are finished in a salmon pink, complementing the pastel green shades.
