Suspended acoustic system - StoSilent Distance

It's hard to imagine modern architecture without large, clean, seamless surfaces. The StoSilent Distance is a suspended ceiling system that allows you to create these types of sound-absorbent wall and ceiling claddings, in situations where they may be used to reduce room height, adjust shape and format, accommodate services, or to achieve a certain aesthetic.

StoSilent Distance can be installed as a suspended ceiling or as a wall cladding with a cavity. The sub-construction is made of metal profiles and the acoustic boards consist of fleece-coated expanded glass granulate. The advantages of this material; it is light, absorbs sound, and can be adjusted to any shape of room to form a homogeneous, seamless surface.

StoColor Climasan is an innovative photocatalytic paint. When applied in an appropriate airless spray technique, it is compatible with many Sto acoustic systems and helps to reduce room odours.

Substances suspended in the air become deposited on a room's painted wall and ceiling surfaces. The normal room lighting activates the catalyst in the StoColor Climasan paint to break these substances down, noticeably improving the air quality in the room. This coating has been used for hospitals, science laboratories, cafeterias, residential buildings, hotels, shopping malls and other public spaces.
