Acoustic surface finishes

StoSilent Top Finish Is a hand applied matt finishing coat for the StoSilent Direct, StoSilent Distance and StoSilent Modular acoustic systems with the appropriate layer build ups.

It is supplied in a pail as standard white (approx. RAL 9016) and may be factory tinted to a colour tones from the StoColor system. The finish is acoustically porous and due to its hand application requires careful application to avoid unevenness becoming visible in grazing lighting conditions.

StoSilent Decor are fine and stippled spray-applied finishes for the StoSilent Direct or StoSilent Distance acoustic systems with the appropriate layer build ups. StoSilent Decor M, based on silicate binder, is supplied in a pail as standard white (approx. RAL 9003) and may be factory tinted to a colour tones from the StoColor system. For darker colour and intense tones, organically bound StoSilent Decor MF is the finish of choice.

StoSilent Miral AP presents a coarse spray-applied mineralic acoustic plaster for ceilings and upper wall areas, for the StoSilent Compact and StoSilent Direct acoustic systems. The material is supplied as a standard in white (approx. RAL 9003) in a sack, requires mixing with water and may be tinted on site to a limited range of colours using StoAqua tint. As a plaster-only system, it provides limited sound absorption in the middle and higher frequency areas.

StoColor Climasan is an innovative photocatalytic, odour-reducing, dead-matt interior paint which is compatible with certain acoustic systems if applied appropriately in an airless spray technique, Substances suspended in the air become deposited on a room's painted wall and ceiling surfaces. The normal room lighting activates the catalyst in the StoColor Climasan paint to break these substances down, noticeably improving the air quality in the room. This coating has been used for hospitals, science laboratories, cafeterias, residential buildings, hotels, shopping malls and other public spaces.

StoSilent Modular 100 performs with high sound absorption (depending on suspension height and format), carrier board made of recycled synthetic PET fibres, prefabricated with white non-woven surface, STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, surrounding frame and carrier profiles made of anodised aluminium, low weight, robust, stable construction, for immediate installation. Standard colour palette based on PET material availability.

StoSilent Modular 230 consists of a carrier board, made of fleece-coated expanded glass granulate, ready to install, including fine textured paint coat. Within certain dimensions free choise of shape and format, no limits in colour. according to StoColor-system

StoSilent Modular 230 consists of a carrier board, made of fleece-coated expanded glass granulate, ready to install, including fine textured paint coat. Within certain dimensions, this system can be designed in many shapes and formats, and any colour within the StoColor System.

StoSilent Board is used for StoSilent Frame. The board is made from 95% recycled glass granulate, with exposed beveled edges. Available as standard in a light grey (approx. RAL 7035), it can be factory-coated and tinted to a desired colour according to the RAL-colour system.
