The “Palace of the Arts”, a major project by Hungarian architect Gabor Zoboki in Budapest, has been built along the lines of the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris. The multifunctional culture centre is a venue with a programme of events that ranges from classical music and opera through dance to fine art. Its Parisian counterpart has been enjoying great success for 30 years now with a similar cultural mix.
