Cable trellis for living green walls - StoFix Iso-Bar ECO

Designed to be used with Sto's exterior wall insulation systems, this cable trellis supports climbing plants to create a live, green facade.

Green facades have a special charisma and are a pleasant contrast to the dreary gray of many buildings. Especially in cities, where green spaces are often in short supply, these green facades have other advantages. The plants break down air pollutants and CO2, and help to reduce temperatures. In summer, residents benefit from the shading of the facade and additional sound insulation. Facade greening also contributes to nature conservation, not least because the plants provide a habitat for small animals.

More and more cities are recognizing these advantages and are supporting facade greening through funding programs. With StoFix Iso-Bar ECO, Sto offers a system for retrofitting a facade greening system onto composite external wall insulation systems, adding functionality and aesthetics to an energy efficient building.

Designed for external walls with composite thermal insulation systems on solid substrates, the StoFix Iso-Bar ECO system for greening facades anchors a wire rope system into the substrate, for insulation thicknesses up to 300 mm.

• Made of glass-fibre reinforced plastic, with an adjustable adapter for fastening the stainless steel wire ropes, seal with washer
• Anchor into the substrate with injection mortar
• Can be individually shortened, easy installation with the supplied assembly tool, including sieve sleeve 25x100 mm for use in perforated brick masonry
